How do I create an account?
Head to brickem.io/signup and create an account with your email. Start your 14-day free trial with full access to all features.
Is brick'em free?
Yes. Start with a 14-day free trial — full access to unlimited scans, inventories, exports, and all features. After the trial it's $20/mo or $200/yr.
What platforms does brick'em work on?
The web app works in any modern browser at dashboard.brickem.io. The Chrome extension works on any webpage in Google Chrome.
Scanning
How does scanning work?
Upload or capture a photo of LEGO minifigures, draw a box around the figure you want to identify, and brick'em uses AI-powered image recognition to match it against our database of 18,000+ minifigures. You get the figure ID, name, and current BrickLink market price.
What's the difference between single and bulk scan?
Single scan identifies one figure at a time. Bulk scan lets you draw a box around multiple figures and auto-detects each one individually using Google Cloud Vision, then identifies and prices them all in one go.
Why didn't the scanner identify my figure?
Scanning works best with clear, well-lit photos where the figure is facing forward. Rare or obscure figures, custom builds, and heavily modified figs may not be in the database. Try a different angle or a closer crop.
Where do the prices come from?
All prices come from BrickLink, the largest LEGO marketplace. We show average used and new prices based on recent sales data.
Chrome Extension
How do I install the Chrome extension?
Search for "brick'em" on the Chrome Web Store, click "Add to Chrome," and the extension icon will appear in your toolbar. Click it to open the side panel.
How does the extension work?
The extension captures a screenshot of the webpage you're viewing and runs the same scanning technology as the web app. Draw a box around figures on any listing page (eBay, Mercari, Facebook, etc.) to identify and price them.
The extension isn't scanning. What do I do?
Try refreshing the page tab, then click Start Scanning again. If the issue persists, go to chrome://extensions, find brick'em, and toggle it off and on. Make sure you're on a regular webpage (not chrome:// or extension pages).
How do I sign into the extension?
Click "Sign in" in the extension side panel. It opens brickem.io where you log in or create an account. Your session is automatically sent back to the extension.
Inventory
How do I add figures to my inventory?
After scanning, click "+ Add" on any result card or "Add All" to add the entire lot. Choose which inventory collection to add to using the inventory picker.
Can I have multiple inventories?
Free accounts get 1 inventory. Paid plans unlock up to 10 inventories (or unlimited on Business). Use them to organize by source, condition, or selling platform.
Can I export my inventory?
Yes. Go to your inventory on the dashboard and use the export feature to download a CSV file compatible with BrickLink, BrickStock, and other platforms.
Account & Billing
How do I upgrade my plan?
Go to Settings in the dashboard and choose your plan. We accept cards via Stripe and PayPal.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Settings in the dashboard and click "Manage subscription." You can cancel, pause, or downgrade at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period.
How do I reset my password?
Go to brickem.io/forgot-password and enter your email. We'll send you a reset link.
How do I delete my account?
Email [email protected] and we'll process your request within 48 hours. All your data will be permanently deleted.
